Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This page explains your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including your right to opt out of certain practices that California law may classify as the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.

1. Understanding “Sale” and “Sharing”

Coir VietNam does not sell personal information in exchange for money.

However, California privacy law defines the terms “sale” and “sharing” broadly. In some cases, these terms may include the disclosure of personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, such as when advertising or analytics partners collect information through cookies, pixels, tags, or similar technologies in order to display more relevant ads to you on other websites or services.

This page is intended to explain those rights in a clear and transparent way and to provide California residents with a practical method for exercising their opt-out choices where required by law.

2. Your Right to Opt Out

If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for targeted advertising or similar advertising-related purposes, as those terms are defined under applicable California law.

How to Opt Out

  1. Global Privacy Control (GPC): If you visit our Site with a browser or browser extension that sends a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat that signal as a valid opt-out request for that browser and device, where required by law.
  2. Cookie Preferences: You may use the “Cookie Preferences” link available in our website footer, if enabled, to adjust your cookie settings and disable non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies.
  3. Direct Request: You may also submit a direct opt-out request by emailing us at support@coirvietnam.com with the subject line “Opt-Out Request”.

3. Security, Fraud Prevention & Legal Exceptions

Choosing to opt out of targeted advertising or similar data-sharing practices does not require us to delete or stop using information that we are legally permitted or required to retain for other purposes.

For example, we may continue to collect, retain, use, or disclose certain information strictly for legitimate non-marketing purposes, including transaction processing, security monitoring, fraud prevention, abuse detection, recordkeeping, and chargeback or dispute resolution, to the extent allowed by applicable law.

4. Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf.

To protect your privacy and security, we may require reasonable verification of the agent’s authority to act for you, as well as verification of your identity, to the extent permitted or required by law.

5. Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights under applicable law.
